Went for lunch today (1/27/24) Great food!! Must check out all the delicious bakery items for sale on your way in lots to choose from!! Breakfast was good portions very filling!! Highly Recommend the Eggs Benedict, my wife enjoyed her “Make Your Own Omelet” and I had the “All American Breakfast” again Great food, Excellent Service!! My food was so good, I’m sad it’s over ! But I’ll be back soon, always am! Been coming here for years and The Harvest never disappoints. They locally source where they can, homemake everything from breads to the corned beef hash, and actually yummy gluten free options. Don’t sleep on this gem! Go in and make friends, they’ll always greet you with a smile.
Recently we placed a catering order for 27 people for a surprise birthday party for my wife. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. During the planning stage Kim was so helpful and willing to be available to answer questions about the menu, etc. Kim gave me her cell number in the event we had any problems of concerns – and she was on vacation! Scott also provided his phone number in case we needed to reach him. When my daughter picked up the order, everyone was so helpful and friendly to her. All of our party guests (including the young kids) loved the appetizers, the salads, and the sandwiches. There was more than enough food – so much in fact that we handed out doggie bags as people were leaving. And serving platters were not just aluminum trays – the food was served on China platters and trays, along with beautiful baskets for the chips and the charcuterie board (which by the way was amazing - as was all the food). Everyone - I mean everyone - at the party commented on the quality, the taste and the amount of food the folks at Harvest Café provided. We also asked Kim to provide a birthday cake – more than enough for everyone – and later in the evening when we had coffee, the guests loved the cake so much, they ended up finishing it! Kim also provided gluten-free options as one of our guests had some dietary restrictions. In summary, Kim, Scott, and the rest of the staff at Harvest are top-notch and go out of their way to ensure the customer is happy. I strongly recommend Kim and her staff to you if you have an event that requires catering. I can promise you, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Harvest Café for helping to make my wife’s birthday one to remember.
Not only do we love to frequent this place for breakfast because of the delicious food but their baked goods are amazing. We needed a cake last minute and not only did they whip one up for us but it was beautiful & it was delicious. Thank you so much!
I find most of my greatest eateries on google search. They are routinely on the spot. The Harvest Café and bakery is no exception. Our family knew it was going to be good when we got there and had to wait about a half an hour to get a table. The wait staff was fast and efficient and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the harvest Café for breakfast.

Most energetic happiest diner-like experience. Best, not heavy pancakes (dense & fluffy) I had from somewhere in a while. The grilled cornbread benedict was perfect and it works. Everyone was more than welcoming. Reasonable costs. Very humble.
Harvest is the best breakfast around! The food is DELICIOUS! As you can see by the pictures. Their wait staff is super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and very family-friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area or just passing by Simsbury!
